  • The ilse media network consists of approximately 150 websites, with Startpagina.nl being one of the largest. 

 
 March 2008: GMX.at - second biggest portal in Austria - joins AD Europe

  • United Internet Media brand GMX launched a new Portal in Austria
  • GMX.at, the second biggest portal in Austria - will provide the well - known GMX freemail service and country-specific content as well as
    additional services for the users.

  • AD Europe Mobile advertising offers premium ad placements on leading mobile portals in 11 European countries
  • Three-screen advertising (Online - Mobile - TV) available on mobile Orange portasl in UK, FR and ES

July 2006: United Internet Media is selected as exclusive European marketing partner for China's biggest Internet portal, Sohu.com

  • United Internet Media provides access for AD Europe Global and its advertisers to the largest Internet market in Asia

 November 2005: AD Europe goes global

  • Southeast Asia and Asia Pacific are the focus of the network's global expansion strategy
  • WEB.DE, now the portfolio brand of United Internet Media, attracts partners in Australia, Japan, South Korea and Singapore

 

  July 2005: AD Europe crosses the Atlantic

  • With the expansion of AD Europe through Wanadoo's network in the US, South America, Central America and Africa, AD Europe Global is now represented in 52 countries on both sides of the Atlantic

 

May 2005: AD Europe joins the European Interactive Advertising Association (EIAA)

  • Wanadoo, WEB.DE and Libero strengthen the online family throughout Europe

2004

 December 2004: AD Europe extends eastwards

  • Poland, Hungary, Russia, Romania, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Turkey join AD Europe

 September 2004: AD Europe extends northwards

  • The Scandinavians arrive: Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland join AD Europe
  • Portugal completes the membership of the Iberian peninsula, Belgium arrives as the second Benelux country

 
 June 2004: AD Europe expands to include all German-speaking countries

  • With newcomers Austria and Switzerland, all German-speaking countries are now represented in the media network.

2003

 December 2003: 1 idea, 3 partners, 6 countries – AD Europe

  • Leading European online players and marketers – France Telecom Group Orange (formerly Wanadoo), United Internet Media (formerly WEB.DE) and Wind Libero Italy – join forces in a "star alliance", building the first international online media and advertising network alliance of leading local portals and online media marketers.
  • The association first focused on establishing an European network for the 6 largest European online economies Germany, France, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands.
